Counsellor or Coach?

We'll try and make this as simple as possible.

You'll want a LIFE COACH if you have done a bunch of self-work already and find that your past doesn't significantly impact how you organize your future. Maybe you feel stuck in a dead-end job or relationship, or recognize you are not functioning at your full potential (and can't figure out why). Most of the work in coaching is done by you outside of the sessions.

You may want a COUNSELLOR when the majority of your struggles are emotional and psychological in nature. Your feelings and thoughts often get in the way of enjoying life or experiencing healthy relationships. Much of the work in counselling is done in the empathetic and non-judgmental space of the therapist-client session.
